Hello, my name is Maddison
My live was boring until it wasn’t any longer.
It was a normal school day, well that’s what I’d expected. But a lot of strange things happened that day. First of all, my best friend Alice didn’t came to school and no one knew why. The worst thing about this was that she hadn’t texted me about it! When usually she always texted me when something happened. When school was over I decided to go to her house and check up on her. I knocked on her door but nobody opened. After having waited for more than 10 minutes, I decided to go inside. „Hello, Alice?“ I said „Is anyone home?“ No response. I was so worried and decided to go to her room. But it was empty. I was about to call the police when suddenly I heard a strange noise. It came from the basement. I’m really scared of basements, but my inner self told me, that I had to go check it up. I turned the light of my phone on and walked slowly downstairs to the basement. It was so creepy but I kept going – not for me, but for Alice. Then I finally arrived.
I could hear that strange noise so clear. Suddenly, I saw a shadow, it was big and had a strange shape. I saw the shadow again and again, but then it disappeared. In its place was a fountain. It seemed deep, but when I looked into it I realised that it was actually even deeper than I had tought. Then I heard that noise again. It came from the fountain, but wait – this noise … IT’S ALICE’S VOICE!!!!! „Alice hello?“ I screamed down the fountain. I had to go down this fountain no matter how deep it was. I looked in the whole house to find something useful. At the end I only took a long rope with me. I fixed the rope at the top of the fountain and started to climb down. After 10 minutes of climbing I could finally touch the ground. I saw Alice, wrapped on a chair and full of blood. A big man was standing next to her. His eyes were white and bright, so bright that it looked as if they were dead. He was holding a knife. I swallowed, but then I figured something out that would save me and Alice: confusion! Maybe I could confuse him. „Hey dude, what’s that behind you?“ I said. He turned and luckily he was so stupid, that he looked for an entire minute. Enough time for me to unwrap Alice. We both climed up quickly and got away safely.
After this last sentence, Kate closed the book and sighed: „They made it“ and went to sleep.
